That damn stabbing stomach pain is back. I went to the doctor for it maybe two months ago and she diagnosed me with acid reflux. Since then, the pain had evolved into general stomach discomfort, which I guess was kind of helped by taking omeprazole once and now twice a day. But this stabbing pain is just started again and it's so much more annoying. It hurts when I inhale, especially deeply, but it comes and goes. But when it does come back, it does so suddenly and surprises me so that I yell out. So I'm sitting here across the room from Glen and every five minutes or so I'm spontaneously yelling -- great for his concentration, I'm sure.

It seems like these "stress"-related issues hit me when I'm not at all stressed, when I'm eating or taking a break. And my lunch today was a turkey and brie sandwich with a tiny bit of spicy mustard, not what I would expect to exacerbate my acid reflux.

Ugh, I don't have time to go to the doctor and have her tell me I'm stressed again. Maybe some tylenol will deal with the pain and I can get back to work.
